Betty Louise Griffin Nettles, 77, resident of Gloster, MS., passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at her residence.

She was born September 4, 1946 to Theo Griffin and Ethel Mae Hendrix Griffin. She was a homemaker and a member of Spirit Life Church.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby Nettles and wife Zina and Jamie Nettles and wife Jasmine; one daughter Patricia Fourrier and husband Darrell; five grandchildren, Hollie Quebedeaux, Adam Fourrier, Kali Nettles, Dakotah Nettles, and Daltyn Nettles; five great grandchildren, Lyla, Elijah, and Noah Quebedeaux, Aiden Fourrier and McKenzie Fourrier: three sisters, Glenda Griffin, Patsy Whatley, and Ellie Mae Prestage; one brother Mack Griffin.

She is preceded in death by her parents Theo Griffin and Ethel Mae Hendrix Griffin; her husband James D. Nettles; one sister Lou Hill, and one brother Robert Griffin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Spirit Life Church in Gloster, MS. from 12:00noon until 7:00pm. Visitation will resume Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Spirit Life Church starting at 9:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Thursday at the church. Brother Jackie Moulder and Pastor Brady will be officiating.

Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, MS.
