Bobby Gene McKlemurry, Sr., 84, of Gloster, was born April 15, 1940. He was called home on March 30, 2025, with family and friends surrounding him at Southwest MS. Regional Center in McComb, MS.
Graduate of 1958 from Gloster High School, he served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist.
Bobby Gene (Paw-Paw) was retired from James River Corporation in St Francisville, La. His Legacy has impacted many throughout the community states with his "Coaching Styles" and dedication to helping children and strangers. He was known for his big, pure loving heart and irresistible charm. He was a "one of a kind" who always went above and beyond to make others happy. To know him was to love him.
Bobby Gene is survived by 2 sons Bobby Gene McKlemurry Jr. and Amanda, and Benjiman Gene McKlemurry and Lana Dawn; step-son Dusty Michael McGregor, step-son Charles Jeffery Sullivan and Ava; step-daughter Jennifer Sullivan Edington and Jimmy; step-granddaughter Brittany Steel; granddaughter Karleigh Ashlyn McKlemurry; grandsons Benjamin Alan McGregor, Peyton Brant Toler, Leyton Blain Sullivan, and Jaice Maddox Sullivan; nephew Tony Spillman and Stephanie, niece Melissa McKey and Phillip and daughter Rachel., great nephew David Scott McKlemurry III; and other loved family members, Walter and Jean Lee, Sarah Reid McKlemurry, Wyvette McGregor McKlemurry, and Linda Sullivan, as well as the "5 white girls" cousins (Kathy, Stacy, Dana, Shelly, and Terri). He loved his great nieces and nephews very deeply.
Bobby Gene is preceded in death by his father Frank McKlemurry, mother Wilma White McKlemurry, brother Frank McKlemurry, Jr., sister Patricia Spillman, sister Mary Helen McKlemurry, sister Myrtle McCallister, nephew Tommy Joe Spillman, nephew Brian Spillman, nephew Davis Scott "Bull" McKlemurry, and cousin Jerry Wayne White.
Visitation is Thursday April 3, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Greg Beaty. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
Pallbearers are Jeffrey Sullivan, Leyton Sullivan, Jaice Sullivan, Dusty McGregor, Ben McGregor, Scott McKlemurry, Peyton Toler, and Tony Spillman.
