Bobby Hoyt Terrell,  lifelong resident of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at his residence near Liberty.  He was born January 11, 1937 in Liberty, the son of the late Robert Newton "Bob" Terrell and  Muriel  Carolyn Smith Terrell.

Bobby Hoyt was a lifelong member of Liberty United Methodist Church and a graduate of Liberty High School class of 1956 where he played football in high school. He was a member of Liberty Lodge #37 F and Am and was retired from James River Paper Corporation in St. Francisville, La.
His later loves in life were fishing and watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren play football, basketball, baseball, and softball.
He is survived by his wife Sharon Byrd Terrell;  his daughter, Bobbie Lucinda "Cindy" Terrell Edwards;  two sons, Warren Hoyt Terrell and wife Marilyn and William Robert "Will" Terrell; one brother Carl Jennings Terrell; granddaughter, Carolyn Naomi Edwards; three grandsons, Hugh Daniel "Danny" Edwards Jr., William Brandon Terrell, and Robert Blake Terrell; special adopted children, Brent Albritton,  Linda Hart;  special adopted grandchildren, Kyle Cobb, Trevor Coleman,  Madison Breaux, and Taylor Slocum;   four  great granddaughters,  Naomi Marie Callender, Emmalyn Allyse Edwards, Britton Grace Edwards, and Evangeline Grace Terrell; three great grandsons,  Jakob Brian Callender, Hayden Daniel Edwards, and Ian Andrew Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Robbie Maurice Terrell,  nephew Christopher "CT" Terrell, and son-in-law Hugh Daniel Edwards Sr.

Visitation will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at Liberty United Methodist Church from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. at the church, officiated by Rev. Megan Reed and Rev. Bruce McKenzie. Interment will follow in Nunnery Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Wayne Byrd, Trevor Coleman, Kyle Cobb, Brent Allbritton, Josh Terrell, Blake Terrell, Brandon Terrell, and Danny Edwards.
Honorary pallbearers are Alan Terrell, Andy Terrell, Bobby Byrd, Russell Byrd, Darren Byrd, Charles Byrd, Douglas Byrd Jr., Michael Byrd, Richard Byrd, Eric Byrd, Jakob Callender, Hayden Edwards, and Ian Edwards.
