Bonnie Poindexter Nettles passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019. She was born November 10, 1934 in Doucette, Texas. She was a resident of Livingston, Louisiana; and was a longtime resident of Vidalia, La., and Gloster, MS.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Robert Nettles; her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Darnell Nettles; grandsons Scott Nettles and wife Rachel, and Chris Nettles; great-grandsons Jacob and Evan Nettles; and "honorary daughter" Linda Havard. She is also survived by two sisters, Jo Davis and husband Jim, and Linda Jenkins and husband Jimmie; three brothers Wilbern Poindexter, Donnie Poindexter, and Ronnie Poindexter and his wife Karen; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Poindexter and Louise McCurley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Jewel Poindexter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley and JoHelen Poindexter and William and Janie Poindexter; and brothers Charles Poindexter and Jerry Poindexter.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS., from 10:A.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, MS.
