Carolyn Jo Rollins Toney, 83, of Busy Corner Community, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Carolyn was born August 25, 1939 to the late Sidney Derwood Rollins and Julia Maunita Whittington Rollins.

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She served her Lord using her talents as pianist for Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for years. She often traveled to Angelo and Bethel Baptist Church to play for her grandsons. She enjoyed nature whether hunting, fishing, or working in her yard. She created beautiful gardens filled with her beloved birds and butterflies.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Kay Campbell and husband Mitch, and Mary Ann Swindle, a daughter-in-law Shannon Toney, eight grandchildren, Trevor Campbell, Logan Campbell and wife Keri, Caroline Campbell Fuller, Elizabeth Hope Guillory and husband Rhein, Steven Swindle and wife Cady, Kailee Ann Swindle, Callie Toney Ngo and husband Matt, Cameron Toney and wife Kati; eleven great-grandchildren, Jace, Kynslee, Weston, Mary Claire, Amelia, Robert, Delton, Cole, Wyatt, Hadlee, and Lily.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Derwood Rollins and Julia Maunita Whittington Rollins, her husband John Robert Toney Jr., a son John Robert Toney lll,

one sister Beverly Beasley, two brothers Derwood Rollins and Jerry Lane Rollins, three nephews, Brent Beasley, Jason Rollins, and Jerry Wayne Rollins.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Zion Hill Baptist church, from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3:00 P.M. at the church, officiated by Rev. Kevin Dixon, Rev. Gary Bowlin,

Rev. Keith Zachary, and Rev. Blaine Stafford. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Steven Swindle, Rhein Guillory, Cameron Toney, Logan Campbell, Trevor Campbell, and Robert Aiken. Honorary Pallbearer is Cole Averett.
