Cleo Poole Huff died peacefully Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the age of 101.  Born May 27, 1920 to the late Taylor and Bonnie Laird Poole, she was a long time resident of the Homochitto Community in Amite County, Mississippi.

Cleo is survived by one brother, Lynn Poole (Agnes), two granddaughters Paige Poppell (Doug), and Lee Ellen Huff and friend Sylvia Thomas as well as three great granddaughters Katie Beth, Emily, and Amanda.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Howell Huff, and her son, William Howell Huff, Jr. (Sonny) as well as her sisters Louise Noble, Tera Fitzgerald, and brother Jennings Poole.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Mt. Vernon Methodist Church in the Homochitto Community with burial immediately following.  Visitation will begin one hour before the service.
