David M. Hoffman, 81, of Woodville, Mississippi, passed away November 23, 2022, at Wilkinson County Senior Care in Centreville, MS.

He was born February 9, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Rev. Louis Hoffman and Ella Cook Hoffman.  He was Transportation Specialist for NASA and had a huge interest in trains. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothea McCurley Hoffman; his parents; his sister Sharon Hoffman; and a nephew Forrest Dunbar McCurley.

He is survived by his son Daniel Mark Hoffman of Winona, MS.; his brother Dr. Paul Hoffman and his wife Barbara of Baton Rouge, LA.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS., from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Greg Touchstone. Interment will follow in Day Cemetery near Crosby, MS.

Pallbearers are Brian McKlemurry, Austin Cavin lll, Phillip Hoffman, Tucker Hoffman, Marcella Hoffman, Bryson McKlemurry, Hannah Hoffman, and Tyler Mcklemurry.
