David C. Rogers, 67, long time resident of Liberty, Mississippi, left this world at his home on Friday, September 15, 2023. He worked offshore for 45 years and enjoyed the outdoors and deer hunting. Also spending time with family and his grandchildren. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

He was born October 8, 1955, the son of Ollis and Nellie Hale Rogers.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Amanda Maxwell Rogers of Liberty,MS; two daughters Tabetha Blanchard and husband Brandon of Thibodeaux, La. and Cassie Ezell and husband Todd of Smithdale, MS; three grandsons Austin Thibodaux, Seth Ezell, and Beau Ezell; three sisters Debra Burciaga and Ed,  Melloanie Aldridge, and Wanda Arnold, and numerous nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS. from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Also visitation Monday September 18, from 10:00am until time of funeral services at 11:00am at Brown Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Terry Hale. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Austin Thibodaux, Jason Bass, Johnny Morgan, Brandon Aldridge, Brandon Blanchard, and Kenny "Peanut" Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Fountain and Mike Freeman.

The Family extends special thanks to Mr. Rogers caregivers Corey Morris and Shannon Landen of Hospice Compassus, and Brett Moak of Viemed.
