Denis Edward Mizell, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, La. He was 69, born July 12, 1949 in Halburton, Canada. He was the son of Barney Fenton McCurley and Katherine Worobec McCurley. Denis was a truck driver most of his adult life.     He is survived by his wife Glenda Brantley Mizell; two daughters, Shuna Mizell, and Melanie Netterville and her husband Chuck; two granddaughters, Ashley Netterville and Denslea Kate Mizell; four sisters, Carol Bryant and husband L.C., Virginia McCurley, Peggy Blalock, and Paige Sauls; two brothers Larry McCurley and Barney McCurley and wife Melisa; and numerous nieces and nephews.                                                            Visitation is Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Also visiting Monday from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Kevin Dixon and Rev. Blaine Stafford. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Cemetery near Gloster.
