Diana Lynn Chamness Roddy, 59, resident of Prairieville, La., passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, LA. She was born June 30, 1960, the daughter of Virgil and Minnie L. Chamness. She was a homemaker.  She is survived by her fiance', Jerry McCrory; mother, Minnie L. Chamness; two sons, Brad J Roddy and Chad C. Roddy, two daughters, Brandy E. Guyban and husband Clint Guban, and Kimberly N. Roddy; two brothers, Virgil L. Chamness and wife Amanda Chamness, and William E. Chamness and wife Mary Ann Chamness; nine grandchildren and ex-husband Brace Roddy.  She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Chamness; two brothers Wallace "Neal" Chamness and Kenneth "Nash" Chamness; one sister Jewelene "Dobie" Gilley; her grandparents, Lem Chamness and Mary Elizabeth Lawrence Chamness; Martha Luther Looney and Elizabeth Coon Looney.  Visitation is Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, officiated by Rev. Greg Beaty. Graveside services will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Centerville, MS. Pallbearers are Jamie Clements, Jerry McCrory, Brad Roddy, Stephen Chamness, James Gilley, P.J. Roddy, and Virgil Chamness.
