Donald R. Brooks Jr., 63 of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at his sister's home, surrounded by his family and friends.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Allie Brooks, and brother- in- law Mike Moore.

Don is survived by two sisters Becky Moore (Keith Brown) and Stephanie McDaniel (Dickey McDaniel); one son Kyle Brooks and Kayla, Brody, and Lane; special niece Courtney Moore Sheets and nephew Tate McDaniel; a host of nieces and nephews and some very special friends and family.

Don loved working, hunting and fishing, and being around his family and friends, and a special little dog named Stitch and a rooster (floppy).

Services will be at a later date.
