Family & Friends are invited to celebrate the life of Donald Glen Coleman Sr. He passed away on November 14th, in St. Louis, MO. He was 87 years old. As a former and long-time resident of Liberty, MS, Donald loved his family, friends, community, gardens, baseball and his church.

Some of his favorite past times were countless hours of watching the same Cowboy and Indians reruns every day from 4 to 6pm.  He enjoyed watching his boys play countless games of all sports, volunteering in church groups, and again tending to his gardens. He not only filled his pantry and freezers with what he harvested, he also loved sharing it with his neighbors.

To have him in your life was a blessing. He was kind, patient and loving. He always left a mark on those who came in contact with him along his life. Even though he wasn't a man of many words, his conversations with you were meaningful.

He is survived by his son Donny Coleman and wife Candy, son Dustin Coleman and numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.  He made a huge impact and will be loved way beyond his passing.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Louise Thames Coleman, father WJ Coleman, mother Nellie Coleman and three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS on Saturday November  16th, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Reverand Blaine Stafford with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gloster will be presiding.  Immediately following is burial at Clay Hill Church.
