Dorothea M. Hoffman, 82, of Woodville, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Merritt Health in Natchez, MS.

She was born January 14, 1940, in Crosby, MS., the daughter of Clarence Dunbar McCurley and Dorothy Reynolds McCurley. She was a school teacher for most of her life and a member of Union Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband David M. Hoffman; her son Daniel Mark Hoffman of Winona, MS.; her brother C. Dunbar McCurley Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death her parents, Clarence Dunbar McCurley and Dorothy Reynolds McCurley; and one nephew Forrest Dunbar McCurley.

Visitation is Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Greg Touchstone. Interment will follow in Day Cemetery near Crosby, MS.
