Dorothy (Dottie Hale) Hester, 78, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her home. She was a resident of Franklin County, born March 7, 1941, the daughter of Robert and Rutha Orear Hale.   She was a caregiver most of her life. Dorothy was a very loving person who never met a stranger, and an avid gardner. She is survived by her husband, William Hester;   her daughter Phillis Wheeler and husband Jimmy of Gloster, MS.; her son Robert Roubique and wife Sue of Liberty, MS.; two grandsons, Thomas Wheeler and Tristan Wheeler; one great grandchild Bradin Wheeler; two brothers James Hale and Wade Hale; and two sisters, Ann Austin and Jonnie Lamb. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rutha Hale, three brothers, Gene Hale, W.C. Hale, Bobby Joe Hale;   and two sisters, Robbie Love and Nellie Rogers Higgins.  A time of visitation and fellowship is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2019, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Compassus, 119-D West Presley Blvd., McComb, MS. 39648.
