Elizabeth Jean Callender, 66, of Gloster, MS., passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.

She was born June 12, 1956 to Cecil Callender and Dora Reeves Callender. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years J.B. Halford; two daughters Danielle Blalock and John, JR., and Loretta Halford; two sons Kenny Amy and James Onellion; three step sons James Halford, JR., Trevor Halford, and Dwayne Halford; one step daughter Zina Beth Halford; ten grandchildren Lane Blalock, Cheyenne Blalock, Waylon Blalock, Corbin Blalock, Abigale Blalock, Lorreal Halford, Jimmy Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan, Harley Halford, and Jordan Halford; seventeen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil Callender and Dora Reeves Callender; and three brothers, Johnny Callender, Ray Callender, and James Smiley Callender.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, from 4:00pm until time of funeral service at 5:00pm Thursday, at the Funeral Home in Gloster, officiated by Rev. Greg Beaty.
