Ellen Elzia Bekemeier, 77, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at her residence in Greensburg, Louisiana.

She was born October 20, 1945, to Lee Roy Shaner and Leona Miller Shaner. She was retired from the United States Air Force.

She is survived by three sons; William L. Bekemeier, Anthony Eugene Kelley, and Richard Litton; ten grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren; one sister Joyce Muller' Smoyer; and her fiancé John LeGette.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William W. Bekemeier, one son Donald R. Wayne, JR., one daughter Bobbie Ellen Decastro, and one brother Richard Shaner.

Visitation will be Friday, August 4, 2023, from 9:00am at the Restoration Place, exit 10 Magnolia, MS., until time of funeral service at 10:00am at the Restoration Place, Magnolia, MS. Brother Jerry Gresset will be officiating.

Interment will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery, 41 Cemetery Road, Natchez, MS.
