Evelyn Lea Nash, native and longtime resident of Gloster, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS.   Evelyn as born April 29, 1928 in Stateline, MS. Greene County. She was the daughter of Alvin and Minnie Sansing.   She worked with her father, as a clerk for many years and in several different states. She last worked for the U.S. Forrest Service as a Ranger Clerk.            She is survived by her husband, Charles Nash of Kingsport, TN. one daughter, Janet Lea Zimmerman; one son, James Lea and his wife Holly; grandchildren, Lea Brister May, Fred Brister lV, Caroline Lea, Anne Reynolds Lea, and Hannah Lea; and four great grandchildren.                    Evelyn is preceded in death by her first husband, James Hampton Lea; her parents, Alvin Sansing and Minnie Lankford Sansing; one brother, Charles Edwin Sansing; and one infant brother Alvin Francis Sansing.                                                                                                   Graveside services are Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, MS., officiated by Rev. Rob Seale.

There will be a Memorial/Celebratory Service for Evelyn at her home church (Kingsport Community Church) in Kingsport, TN. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 1:30 P.M.

Memorial Services will be held June 1, 2019 at Galilee Baptist Church in Gloster, where she was a longtime member and pianist.  The time and other information will be announced later.
