Freddie J. Brumfield, resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away Monday December 7, 2020, at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge.  He was born August 1, 1935 in Pecos County, Texas, the son of the late Robert Smiley Brumfield and Gladys Whittington Brumfield. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces and worked at a building supply business for many years.

He is survived by his son, Robert Brumfield and wife Jackie; his niece, Vickie Brumfield Hewitt; and a great nephew, Dustin Dunaway.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2020,  at Whittington-Brumfield Cemetery near Liberty, MS. from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the Cemetery, where he will laid to rest next to his parents. Services will be officiated by Rev. Britt Williams under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
