George Marlin Zion passed away at his residence Friday November 23, 2018. He was 72, born in Liberty, MS on July 28, 1946 to Charles L. Zion and Mary Avis Foreman Zion.  He was retired as an operator at Timbec in St. Francisville, LA.

He is survived by his wife Judy Zion:  three  children,  Stacy Zion,  Wesley Zion and his wife Nichelle, and Ricky Zion;  two Grandchildren;  Marlin Zion and William Harris;  two sisters Carolyn Zion Payne, and Patricia Zion LaFontaine.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren,  Kayla Dawson and Seth Zion.

Visitation is Sunday,  November 25, 2018, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS.,  from 1 pm until time of funeral services at 3 pm Sunday, at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mary Springs  Cemetery,  officiated by Bro. Reggie Foreman.
