Glenn Allen Bowlin of Smithdale, Amite County, MS, was born July 28, 1952, and passed away peacefully at 3:12 p.m. on February 16, 2023, at Southwest Regional Medical Center ICU, McComb, MS.

Glenn for many years was an excellent auto and heavy equipment mechanic in the Adams and Amite County area.  He was well-known in the community for his colorful and compassionate personality and his generosity.

Glenn was a devoted servant of the Lord and spent much of his time sharing Jesus with others.  He recently expressed to his friends and family how he was ready to go to his heavenly home.

Glenn is survived by his son Jeff Bowlin and wife, T. C., his grandchildren, Danielle, Christian, and Tyler, his brothers, Charles Bowlin (Nancy), Ed Bowlin (Anne), his sisters, Evelyn Drown (Connie), and Cris White (Jim), his four great grandchildren, and his very special friend and prayer partner, Aleska Reeves.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat, his parents, Bud and Hazel Bowlin, his sister, Millie Ring, and his infant grandson, Dean.

Memorial Services are Monday, February 20, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS. from 12:00 P.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Eddie King.
