Obituary

Harold Wayne Mason,  72, of Centreville, MS., passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his home  after a lengthy illness.  He was born November 10, 1946 in Harrisonburg, Louisiana, the son of Frank Ollie Mason and Lota Mae Havis Mason.


He was a diesel mechanic , he was known as the diesel doctor,  and a  truck driver for many years. He loved the Lord ; he was a faithful servant, and a member of Union Church.


He married Mary Beth Black on February 22, 1969, and is survived by her after 49 years;  he is also survived by  two daughters, Dana Jackson and her husband Robert, and their children, Olivia and Sara Beth;  and Lea Anne Nevels and her husband Johnny Wayne, and their children, Jamie Lee, Justin Lee, Samantha Tarver and Cassie Nevels;  one son, Steven Mason and his wife Mindy, and their children, Drake and Ridge;  three sisters, Cheryl, Carolyn, and Marylin; four brothers, Billy, Bobby, Frank, and Dalton.


He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lavon Mason.


Visitation is Sunday, November 25, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS.  Visitation also Monday, from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services Monday, at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home,  officiated by Rev. Reggie Forman. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery near Gloster.
