Hattie Lee Thomas, 74, longtime resident of Crosby, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

She was born July 24, 1947 in Amite County, MS. to John Henry McDowell and Etta Minor McDowell. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for many years, and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Gloster.

She is survived by her husband James D. Thomas; one daughter Missy Pittman; one son David Jason Thomas; two grandchildren April Pittman and Lacey Fair; one great grandson Jeremy "Gus" Fair Jr.; and one sister Oneida Riddle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers J.H. McDowell, Davis "Blue" McDowell, and Robert Wayne McDowell; and one sister Elaine Netterville.

Visitation is Thursday, June 23, 2022 at First Assembly of God Church from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10:00 A.M. Friday at the church, officiated by Rev. Ken Ensminger. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster.
