Henry Lee Smith Jr., 81, of Roxie, MS., passed away Wednesday August 28, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 7, 1938, the son of Henry L. Smith Sr. and Melinda Murray Smith.   He was a heavy equipment mechanic. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Betty Fay Smith; two sons, Neal Smith and wife Mandy, and Carl Smith and wife Wanda; two grandchildren Emily and Hannah; and three nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Alice Brown.   Visitation is Sunday Sept. 1, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 6:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral services are Monday at Springhill Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church., officiated by Rev. Mike Carraway and Rev. Max Foreman. Interment will follow in Springhill Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Charles Brown, Willie Brown, David Brown, Randy Hunt, Randy Arnold, and William Mullins.   Honorary pallbearers are Mike Foreman, Robbie Rymer, Johnny Longmire, and Lyle Johnson.
