James Bryant "J.B." Halford Sr, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at his residence near Gloster.

"JB" was born September 22, 1946 to Marshall B. Halford and Edna Rothman.

After high school and college, he worked as a truck driver for many years.

He is preceded in death by father and mother; wife Elizabeth Jean Callender, known as Jeannie; grandson W. Lane Blalock; sister Odean Halford; and daughter Christina Halford.

He is survived by daughter Danielle Blalock and John Jr.; son James Halford Jr. and "Mann"; daughter Zina Beth Pack and Brian; daughter Loretta Halford;  son Trever Halford and Mary; son Dwayne Halford; grandchildren Cheyenne Blalock, Waylon Blalock, Corbin Blalock, Abigale Blalock, Jordan Halford, Harley Halford, Dwayne Halford, Drake Halford, Lorreal Halford, Dora Morgan, and Jimmy Morgan.

There will be a gathering of family and friends, Monday, June 1, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
