Janet Gay Parker 68, passed away Tuesday, April 21,2026.

Janet was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, March 10, 1958 to the late Virgil G. Pray and Jeanette Mae Browning Pray.

Janet married Lee Parker of Amite County in Mississippi and made this her home. She worked as a clerk at the Dollar Store in Gloster, MS. for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil G. Pray and Jeanette Mae Browning Pray; her son Christopher Lee Parker; and her brother Walter Daniel Pray.

She is survived by her husband Lee V. Parker; son Joseph Daniel Parker; granddaughter Abigail Parker; grandson Daniel Parker; sisters Golda Jean Riser, Charlotte Marie Weatherly, and Marilyn Langlinais.

Graveside Service will be Saturday April 25, 2026 at Pray Cemetery on Pray Road near Liberty, MS., officiated by Rev. Jackie Moulder.
