Jeanette Stokes, 84, of Liberty, MS. passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence.   She was born October 17, 1935 in Amite County to Earl Brewer Stokes and Julia Doris Huff Stokes.   Ms. Jeanette was an operator for AT&T, and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.,,She is survived by one sister Judy Herring and husband Jerry; one brother Roger Gail Stokes and wife Mary; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Al Alcorn; and sister-in-law Barbara Stokes.  She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl Wayne Stokes and Jackie Stokes, and one sister Marjorie Alcorn.  Visitation is Tuesday, December 3, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., and Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Blaine Stafford,   Bro. Ellis Hollingsworth, and Rev. P.J. Walters. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.
