Jennings Lee Freeman resident of Gloster, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at St. Dominick Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

He was born May 24, 1947 to Smiley and Flora Freeman.  After high school, he joined the Marine Corp and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He then worked as a mechanic for U.P.S. for many years.

Jennings is survived by his wife Patty Freeman; son Jennings Lee Freeman Jr. and wife Dana; grandchildren Freeman Polk Hartley and wife Morgan, Sheriff W. Hartley, Peyton Rhodes and husband Cyrus, Macy Freeman, Jennings Lee Freeman lll, Sadie Freeman, Sydney Freeman, Betty Freeman, and two brothers Glen Freeman and Aldoris Freeman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Smiley Freeman and Flora Whittington Freeman, and daughter Delilah "Lori" Hartley.
