Jonathan David Bowman, 29, of Crosby, MS. passed away February 26, 2021.

Jonathan was born May 30, 1991 in Hazlehurst, MS. the son of David Lonzo Bowman of Houston, Texas and Sonya Ann Johnson Bowman of Crosby, MS.

He attended Pine Hills Academy and Franklin County High School. He worked construction the last seven months but his passion was welding.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Joseph C. Johnson, his maternal great grandfather Chester Johnston Sr., and a maternal aunt Jacqueline Nadine Johnson.

Jonathan is survived by his son Kaleb Jaxon Bowman, his mother Sonya Ann Bowman; maternal grandmother Ann Johnson and his beloved uncle Joey Johnson and wife Renee; his father David Bowman and grandparents Wallace and Linda Bolton, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 5, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M.  officiated by Rev. John Bryant. Interment will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, MS.

Pallbearers are Maddox Forman, Joey Johnson, Cody Johnston, Kaleb Bowman, Casey Aldridge, Greg Randall. Christian Johnston, Owen Randall.

Honorary pallbearers are Zack Johnston, Jason Johnston, Dalton Rollins, Brother in Christ @ Damascus Rd.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Evergreen Christian Academy in Gloster, MS.
