Obituary

Julius Paul Williams age 81, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at his residence. He lived in Wilkinson County most of his life and was a Welder by trade.

He is preceded in death by his parents Julius Russell Williams and Katie Lee Williams; three brothers Tommy Williams, David Williams, and Emmett Williams; one sister Francis Wisner; two granddaughters Michelle Weatherford and Tonya Hoyt; two great granddaughters Laura Morgan and Michelle Hoyt.

He is survived by his wife Gladys Williams; P.C.A. Melissa Perry; three daughters Carolyn Jarreau, Catherine Howell, and Carrie Blanchard; three stepsons Carter Hoyt, Terry Hoyt, and Gary Hoyt; five grandchildren Michael Weatherford, Krystal Chapman, Billy Chapman, Kayla Brown, and Kris Blanchard; two step grandchildren; two sisters Daisy Fry and Katie Perry; two brothers Freddie Williams and Richard Williams. Julius is also survived by a very special little friend Chyenne Johnson.

Visitation is Monday, May 11, 2026 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, Mississippi, from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. David Fortenberry.

Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Russell Fry, Clint Williams, Micheal Weatherford, Bryce Hoyt, Joe McKey, and Kirkland McKey.

Honorary pallbearer is Andy Partridge.
