Kim Suzanne Whittington McDowell, 59, of Crosby, Mississippi, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021.  She was born April 8, 1962, the daughter of Nolan "Sonny" Whittington and Louise Mckey Whittington.

Kim was the Transportation Operations Manager for over thirty-six years and was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years Davis McDowell; one brother Tommy Whittington; one sister Barbara McLaughlin and husband James; one sister-in-law Annette Watts; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Nolan "Sonny" and Louise McKey Whittington; father and mother-in-law Blue and Inez McDowell; special aunts and uncles, Thelma and James Tompkins, Thomas "Bubba" Smith, Clyde "Unk" Smith, and maternal grandparents Thomas and Effie Smith.

Visitation is Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  Visitation Sunday is from 1:00 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Greg Touchstone. Interment will follow in McDowell Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Eric Touchstone, Sam Honeycutt, Steven Lusk, Stephen Williams, James Floyd, and James Michael Schmidt.
