Lakeita Myrtle Stevens, 62, longtime resident of Gloster, MS., passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the Pam Specialty Hospital of Hammond, LA. She was born September 10, 1961, to Barney W. Stevens and Barbara Jean Bryant Stevens.

She worked as a restaurant cook for many years and was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sisters; Debra Butler and Jabez, Barbara Ann Stevens. Two nieces; Geena Butler and Victoria Laird. Two nephews; Justin Cole Stevens and Garrett Butler. One special Aunt; Marie Everett.

She is preceded in death by her parents Barney W. Stevens and Barbara Jean Bryant Stevens. One brother Barney W. Stevens, Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2024, 12:30pm until time of funeral services at 1:00pm at the Brown Funeral Chapel in Gloster, MS. Brother Mike Havard will be officiating.

Interment will follow at The Smith Family Cemetery number 2 Gloster, MS.

Pallbearers are Landon Havard, Cole Stevens, Drew McNichols, Roger Simmons, Jr., Grover Havard, and Robert Earl Havard.

Honorary Pallbearer is Garrett Butler.
