Obituary

Leslie Ward Graves passed away at his home on Saturday September 3, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1942 to Monk Graves and Josie Sterling Graves. He was a logging contractor for most of his life. He attended and graduated from University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Business. He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1966. Our Daddy loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He had a passion for duck hunting and loved going to his camp at mud lake to hunt or fish. We are so thankful for all the prayers and knowing that our Daddy is whole again and walking with Jesus.

He is survived by his two children Leslie Ward Graves II, and Jessica Graves Rosata and her husband Kelvin, eight grandchildren, Raylee Graves, Kenzie Graves, Connor Hartzog, Jake Haygood, Jax Toler, Randi Toler, Dylan Rosata, and Kellan Martin; two sisters, Mary Graves Cupit and Jeannine Graves Cleveland.

He is preceded by his parents Monk Graves and Josie Sterling Graves.

Arrangements are Visiting Tuesday September 6, 2022 from 10 am until time of funeral services at 12 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, Ms. Interment will follow at Graves Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Adam Sterling, Dawson Delee, Jake Haygood, Jax Toler, Connor Hartzog and Kellan Martin.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dale Sterling, Rick Hampton, Dennis Lindsey, John L McCabe and Sammy King

In lieu of flowers please give to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
