Lt. Colonel Edgar Young Hill, JR., passed away on September 13, 2023, at The Shady Lawn Health and Rehabilitation Home in Vicksburg, MS. He retired from the Army National Guard with over thirty years of service and worked for the Department of Defense. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He was born July 9,1945 to Edgar Young Hill, SR. and Elry Butler Hill.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Aldridge Madison Hill; one son Jeffery Madison and Crista Alack; three daughters Shannon Hill Mangiapane of Metairie, LA., Rebecca Hill of Maryland, and Robin Hill Brown and Cory of Pensacola, FL.; two sisters Beverly Hill Brumfield and Ike of Nashville, TN. and Nelwyn Hill Hair of Baton Rouge, La.; seven grandchildren Emma Grace, John Paul, and Luke Madison, Molly Mangiapane, Eliose Hill, Preston Brown, and Harrison Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
