Obituary

Lucille Haynes McNabb, 99, of Centreville, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home, Rural Retreat in Centreville. She was born September 17, 1921 in Eupora, MS. the daughter of the late Raymond Charles Haynes Sr. and Myrtle Wood Haynes.

Mrs. McNabb lived a long and blessed life, and traveled the world with friends and family. She remained in her home, was always surrounded by family and dedicated loyal sitters.

Lucille McNabb was owner an accountant for Centreville Motor Company,  member of the Centreville Baptist Church and her minister Dr. Dennis Johnsey will officiate at her funeral services.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Charles Haynes Sr. and Myrtle Wood Haynes;  her husband Venton Albert McNabb Sr., her siblings Allen Haynes, Frank Haynes, Johnnie Ruth Garrett, Edward Earl Haynes, Raymond Charles Haynes Jr., Macon Haynes, Bettye Foster , and Bobbie Sue Haynes

She is survived by three daughters, Ann McNabb Strange, Sue McNabb, and Sarah Ellen McNabb; two sons, Venton Albert "Bubba" McNabb and Earl Guy McNabb; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 10:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Dennis Johnsey.  Graveside services will follow in Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, followed by a private reception for family at her home.

Pallbearers are Randy Patton, Kenny St.Romain, Steve Garrett, Lee Allen Haynes Jr., Landon Foster Haynes, and James W. Roberts lll.

Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Haynes Garrett, Charles Frank Haynes Jr., George Dewey Haynes, Michael O Neil Haynes, Lee Allen Haynes Sr., Jerry Keith Foster, Vernon Frank "Bubba" Foster, and Thomas Emile Lobrano.

Donations may be made to Centreville Baptist Church.

Due to the Covid-19, we request that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while inside the building.  If you have been exposed to it or have one or more of the symptoms, we respectfully ask you not to attend the services.
