Lucille Strickland, 90, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at the Courtyard Nursing and Rehabilitation in McComb, MS.  Mrs. Lucille was born June 22, 1928, in Lincoln County, Mississippi, to the late Richard Martin and Rosie Nell Bates Martin. She worked for Brown Funeral Home in Liberty for twenty-five years as a hostess. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a member of the Sweet Spirit Singers Choir. She loved being part of the choir and traveling to many different cities and churches. She was a loving wife and mother and grandmother; a friend to all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Henry Lamar Strickland Sr.; her parents; on daughter Diann; one brother Clifton Martin; one sister Alberta Johnson. She is survived by one son, Henry Lamar Strickland Jr. of San Luis De Lapz, Mexico; two daughters, Judy Riddle of Bisbee, Az. and Barbara Horton (Dennis) of McComb, MS.; three grandchildren, Stacey Murray (Reid) of Albuquerque, Mexico, Amy Jolly (Will) of Tampa, Fl., and Christina Riddle Anderson (Robert) of Bisbee, Az.; one sister, Azalee Jackson of Liberty.    Visitation is Monday, June 24, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS., from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Monday, at the funeral Home, officiated by Rev. James Sadler.
