Margaret Lucille Etheridge Bass 77 of Liberty, MS passed away unexpectedly at her home Sunday June 6, 2021. Ms. Bass was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mildred Hodges Etheridge. She was a lifelong resident of Liberty, and was retired from Sanderson Farms.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was survived by her son Randy Brown and partner Malia Proctor, daughter Darlene Massey and husband John Massey Sr., and daughter Theresa Sullivan and husband Roger Sullivan. Grandchildren; Megan Sullivan, Draven Sullivan, Tyler Brown, John Thomas Massey Jr., Seth Jordan Massey, Dusty and his wife Brooke Sullivan, Derrick and his wife Amanda Sullivan. Great grand-children; John Thomas Massey III, Kinsley Noel Massey, Kaylee Marie Sullivan, Brylan Sullivan, Jaycee Belle Sullivan, Alyssa Miller, Brady Miller, and C.J. Miller.

She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Cecil Etheridge, Charles Etheridge, and Clavis Etheridge.

Visitation will be held Tuesday June 8, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, MS from 5pm until 8pm, and will resume on Wednesday June 9, 2021 at 9 am until the time of funeral services at 10am. Burial to follow at New Zion Cemetery on Meadville Rd. north of Liberty, MS.  Brown Funeral Home is in Charge of the arrangements.
