Margaret Marie Hill, 73, passed away in New Caney, TX on September 4th , 2023. She was born July 24th, 1950 in Centreville, MS. She was the daughter of Louis and Elizabeth Ervin. She graduated Gloster High School in 1968 and was a long time resident of Gloster, MS before moving to Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William "Mac" Hill of El Paso, TX. and her last husband, Michael Saunders of Houston, TX. and her daughter, Christine "Chrisy" Hill.

Margaret is survived by brothers Louis Ervin Jr of Gloster, MS and Charles Ervin and his wife Tina of Smithdale, MS. She is also survived by Uncle Terry Short of Gloster, MS as well as by numerous cousins and friends.

Margaret was a lover of life who lived each minute to the fullest. She loved to travel and honestly she never met a stranger. She was a real caregiver who never hesitated to look after those in need. She loved her Houston Astros and also was an avid nature lover. She loved spending time feeding the ducks at a pond near where she lived.

A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS on October 2nd, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. with a service at 10 a.m. officiated by Rev Jackie Moulder. A brief graveside service will follow at Roseland cemetery in Gloster, MS
