Mary Ellen Perkins Roberts, 71, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Thursday December 2, 2021, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.

Mrs. Mary was born April 2, 1950, the daughter of the late James Woodie Perkins and Martha Haygood Perkins who preceed her in death.  She was a Floral Designer most of her life and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her husband David Lamar Roberts; four children, Shannon Sturgeon and husband Louis, Gino Perkins and wife Trisha, Corey Perkins and wife Jennie, and Jeremy Perkins and wife Bethany; three step-children, Brad Roberts and wife Rachel, Clint Roberts and wife April, and Jodi Brown; seventeen grandchildren, Kale and Kevin Kirkland, Jarid and Lauren Sturgeon, Jaden, Kara and Laya Perkins, Kaul and Kade Perkins, Eleanor Perkins, Benzi Toler, Remi, Miley and Bailey Brown, Lacey and Corey Roberts, and Casey Roberts; three great-grandchildren Wade, Abel, and Eden Toler; three sisters, Judy Noonan and husband Randy, Jimmie Ann Hays and husband Sid, and Elizabeth Haygood and husband Vernon.

Visitation is Sunday December 5, 2021, at Bethel Baptist Church in Liberty, MS. from 1:30 P.M. until time of funeral services at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, at the church, officiated by Rev. James Sadler and Bro. Dusty Rhodes. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kale Kirkland, Kevin Kirkland, Jarid Sturgeon, Jaden Perkins, Kaul Perkins, Kade Perkins, Bailey Brown, and Myles Simmons.
