Mary Frances Reeves, 85, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at her residence.

She was born August 8, 1938 in Amite County to Jason and Tennie Freeman. She graduated Liberty High School in 1956, and married Delano Reeves in December 1956.

She worked at Bell Telephone Company and then later went to the Coop in Liberty where she worked thirty-three and one-half years, retiring in late 1996.

She always lived in Amite County. She grew up and lived in the same home until she got married.

She served faithfully at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church serving on the fellowship committee and VBS.

She is preceded in death by all of her siblings, Julious (Annie Laura(Aunt Kate), T.J. (Joycelyn), Claudia Ford (Emmitt), Ruby Wright ( Roy), Tynia Pierce (JW), Eunice Lemoine (Gerard), Betty Martinez (Phillip), and Rachel Freeman (Allen).

She is survived by her husband Delano Reeves; daughter Debra Kellum and Mitchell; son Frank Reeves; grandchildren Justin Kellum and Stephanie Rayburn; and great-grandchildren Jak and Clay Rayburn.

Visitation is Friday May 17, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon, at the church, officiated by Rev. Blaine Stafford and Rev. Ellis Hollingsworth.  Graveside services will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
