Mary Elizabeth Rockwood, 94, of Liberty, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at her residence in Liberty, MS.

Mary was born June 20, 1930 in Philadelphia, MS. the daughter of William H. Ezell and Jonnie Wilkerson Ezell. She was a Gardner at the U.S. Naval Base in Gulfport, MS. for many years. She was housewife, mother, and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb, MS.

Mary is survived by her son Fred H. Miller Jr. and his wife Debbie, daughter Cindy Kelley, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren; two sisters Shirley Duffy and Onieta Shields.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William H. Ezell, mother Jonnie Wilkerson Ezell, first husband Fred H. Miller, second husband Cyrus Rockwood; one son Kenneth Wayne Miller, two daughters Mary Ann Wert and Barbara Faye Henley; and five sisters Lyndia Dykes, Georgia Smith, Helen Jefferies, Doris Purdy, and Hazel Davis.

Visitation will be Friday, July 12, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in McComb, MS. from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., officiated by Father Bill Henry. Graveside will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Liberty, MS.
