Mathew Santella, 62, of Gloster, MS. passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at his home with his wife Diane by him. He was born February 18, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York.  He died due post Covid lung issues.

He is preceded in death by parents, Matthew Montour and Theresa Jasinsky; and adopted parents, John Santella and Audrey Santella.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Cynthia Diane Santella; step-daughter  Sandy Whittington Rushing and her husband Tommy;  granddaughters Amber Rushing Longmire, Emily Rushing, and Mollee Kayte Rushing; one grandson, Jake Rushing;  thirteen brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS. from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Danny Cook.  Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Benjie Sanders, Benji Holland, Cole Whittington, Heath Thomas, Tyson Etheridge, and Jerry McKey.

Honorary Pallbearer is Sam Horne.
