Nelma Lea Murray a lifelong residence of Crosby, MS passed away on June 13, 2018   at her home.  She was born June 2, 1931 to Hiram Judson Ashley and Mary Juanita Wisner Ashley.  She was a Homemaker and a Life Time member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son Robert D. Murray, two daughters  Nelwyn Wilkinson and husband Thomas, and  Eddye Faye Lofton and husband Paul; grandchildren  Kerry Murray and wife Michelle,  Elvin Perry III and wife Mandy, Ashley Heath Perry, and Mackenzie Wilkinson; great grandchildren Miranda Perry,   Sean Perry,  Dylan Perry,  Emma and Emily Perry, and Connor Murray; one brother, Arlie Vernel "Stumpy" Ashley; numerous  nieces, nephews:  and special friend Sandra Sturdivant

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eddie Murray,  one  Sister Katheryn McManus;  four Brothers  Kennon,  W.J.,  Buddy,  and Billy Wayne Ashley.

Visitation,  Friday, June 15, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, Mississippi from 7:00 P.M. until  9:00 P.M.and  Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Perrytown Church of Christ  From 9:00 A.M. until  time of funeral services at 10:00 A.M. Saturday,  at the church,  officiated by Bro. Bernard Waites.  Interment will follow at Ashley Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Elvin Perry III,  Sean Perry, Kerry Murray,  Bobby Johnson,  Wayne Johnson,  and  Shannon Ashley.
Honorary Pallbearers are  Harold Ashley, Ashley Heath Perry,  Tim Ashley,  Wayne Ashley,  Dan Perry,  Adam Perry,  and Butch Thurman.
