Nora S McGee born May 1934, in Ebbervale  South Wales, Great Britain, passed away on December 30, 2018 in Spring Branch Texas.  Nora, was preceded in death by her parents Mathew and Violet Scanlon, sister and brother in law Pat and Ken Smallcomb and brother Matthew Scanlon and in-laws  Geneva, Jack, Alvin, CJ Havard and  grandson Jon McGee. Nora was a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana for 59 years, she worked for Rabenhorst Life Insurance Company for years and retired from the East Baton Rouge Sheriff office after 20 years of service in 1999.

Nora loved her family,  and is survived by her husband Avon Mc Gee of 63 years, daughters Yvonne Denise Buxton, Jenny Kim Landry, Shirley Quintela and her husband Michael: sons,  Johnny McGee and wife Lynn, Robert McGee and wife Jill: 14 grandchildren: 14 great grandchildren:  2 great great grandchildren:  and in laws Donald, Marie, Sadie, and Betty Havard.

Visitation is Friday, January 4, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS., from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   Funeral Services are Saturday, January 5,  at 11:00 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, MS.  Pallbearers will be grandsons.
