Pamela Parish Perritt, 61, of Jackson, Louisiana, passed away Sunday September 17, 2023, at Forest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born June 30, 1962, in Clinton, Louisiana to Homer and Mary Parish. She was a longtime employee of Louisiana State Penitentiary and Dixon Correctional Institute.

She is survived by her son Shane Perritt and wife Mandi of Liberty, MS; her daughter Kristina Perritt Shelton and husband Nathan of Gloster, MS.; 6 grandchildren, Brookeleigh Wall, Bradley Shelton, Adrianna Perritt, Beaux Perritt, Sammy Perritt, and Hayden Perritt; 3 sisters, Debbie Morris and husband Donald of Jackson, La., Tammy Parish, of Jackson, La., and Terrie David and husband Jackie of St. Francisville, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son Ladd Wayne Perritt, her husband Bennon Perritt, and parents Homer and Mary Parish.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Services will be Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 9-11a.m. at Browns Funeral Home in Liberty, MS. Graveside to follow at Bethel Cemetery on Ms. Highway 569 South of Liberty, Ms. Services will be officiated by Pastor Mike Alexander.

Pallbearers will be John Maples, Chris Morris, Cade Maples, Trent Adams, Cris Travis, and Kolby Sibley.

Honorary pallbearers are Donald Morris and Jackie David.
