Paul D. Knight, passed away Friday May 24, 2019 at Field Health System in Centreville, MS.  He was born July 6, 1939, in Amite County to the late William Norman Knight and Ruth Merle Sterling Knight. He was a lifelong resident of the Busy Corner – Oxford Community;  worked in the forestry industry and retired from Georgia-Pacific Corp., and was a longtime member of Mary Springs Church of God of Prophecy.  He is survived by his wife , Martha Wilkinson Knight; two sons, Greg Knight and wife Becky and John Knight and wife Marcie; and daughter Hope Robertson and husband Brandon; seven grandchildren: Gracie, Callie, Brennan Paul, Marlie, Madisyn, Faith Ann, and Fallon; one sister: Deb Spillman; and two brothers Bo Knight and Hansel Knight. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Dean Havard.  Visitation will be Sunday May 26, 2019 at Mary Springs Church of God of Prophecy near Gloster from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Monday May 27, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. at the church, officiated by Rev. Danny Cook and Rev. Matt Emfinger.  Interment will follow in the Mary Springs Cemetery.
