Pauline Hollingsworth, age 82 of Liberty, Mississippi passed away peacefully at home surrounded with loved ones on February 3, 2025.
Pauline was born on August 14, 1942, to the late Lesile and Georgia Wall. She was married to Hilton Hollingsworth for over 50 wonderful years. She was a devoted member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she lived out her faith as a good steward sharing her time, wisdom, and relationships. She loved being in the nursery helping every time she could. She was one of six children and as the oldest she loved watching out for her sisters and brothers. Pauline worked at Kellwood Manufacturing Company for over 40 years in Liberty, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her Father Lesile and Mother Georgia Wall, Husband Hilton Hollingsworth, Brother Dennis Ray Wall and Sister Mildred Morris.
She is survived by her son Robbie Hollingsworth and daughter in-law Jessica Hollingsworth; Grandkids Claire and Mac Hollingsworth; Sister Charlotte Rayburn and Husband Glen; Brother Larry Wall and Wife Pam; Brother Bob Wall and Wife Kim; Sister in-law Martha Wall.
Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gloster, Mississippi, from 9:00am until time of funeral services at 11:00am following with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Brother Ellis Hollingsworth and Brother Blaine Stafford will officiate the services.
Upholding the honor of pallbearers will be Al Jones, Brandon Liazza, Kyle Rayburn, Dewayne Steele, Adam Sterling, and Trevor Tennison.
A reception for family and friends will be held after the services at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Thank you for all the support from the loving people of Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville and Deaconess Hospice who has helped us take care of her for the last 11 months.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery fund.
