Raymond Earl "Doot" Doerr Jr., left this world for a better home on February 19, 2025, at his home in Liberty, Mississippi.

He leaves behind the love of his life Tammy Doerr, 3 step sons Albert, Burlon (Lisa), and Henry (Sarah) Cernich; 7 granddaughters, Abbie, Allie, Maddie, and Keria Cernich, Katie Cernich, Chole Cernich, and Jasmine Marler; 1 grandson Clinton Finch; two sisters Susie Jones (Steven), Deborah Cruthirds; brother Larry Crowell (Faye); a special aunt Doris Davis (Gary); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends that were like family to him.

He is preceded in death by his mother Nell C. Smith, step father Earl Smith; maternal grandparents Marshall and Alma Kate Creech; his father-in-law Burlon Ralph Miller.

Doot spent much of his time hunting, fishing, and riding his dirt bike which was his number 1 sport, as well as traveling with his wife.

He loved and lived life to the fullest and now he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation is Sunday February 23, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty, Mississippi, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Visitation Monday is from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Centreville, MS.

Pallbearers will be Burlon Cernich, Albert Cernich, Henry Cernich, Cory Burnworth, Anthony Gayheart, Lonny Morales, Chris Holland, and Clinton Finch.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steven Jones and Mike Herrington.
