Richard Glynn Caston

Richard Glynn Caston, lovingly known as Ricky, passed away on April 24, 2026, doing what he loved…Fishing. He was 76 years old, born on January 15,1950 in Pike County, MS. Ricky lived a full and meaningful life spending his final years in Liberty, Mississippi, surrounded by the people and places he loved the most.

Ricky was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He worked most of his life in Industrial Construction before retiring. He was an active member of Tangipahoa Baptist Church and proudly served the Lord doing anything he could to help anyone. He loved his kids, 3 granddaughters, family and friends. He spent most of his time serving the Lord, hunting, fishing, and working on many different projects for others. He will truly be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Julius Thompson Caston and Joy Whittington Caston; two sisters Brenda G. Wallace and Elise Cort.

He is survived by a daughter Dawn Marie Arant and husband Carl; a son Richard "Ric" Caston; a brother Randy Caston and wife Karen; 3 granddaughters Madison Lee Arant, Baylee Marie Arant, and Karly Layne Arant, along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M., both at Tangipahoa Baptist Church, 7555 Thompson Rd. Summit, MS. Graveside will follow at Whittington Cemetery with his dear friend, Rev. Mike Morris officiating.
