Richard Lamar Flowers age 77 of Liberty, Ms., passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Ms.

He was born October 21, 1946 to Joe P. Flowers and Adelaide Bardin Flowers. He was a retired self-employed electrician, he served in the U.S. Army, and he was a member of Thompson Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Bagby and husband Larry of Sheridan, WY, two grandchildren; Preston and Paislei Bagby, one sister, Troylene Sutton, one nephew, Richard E. Flowers of Union, MO.

He is preceded in death by his wife Rosella Flowers,  parents Joe P. Flowers and Adelaide Bardin Flowers, one brother, Stephen Preston Flowers, two sisters;  Armida D. Flowers and Linda J. Fridell.

Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2023 at Thompson Baptist Church in Smithdale, MS. from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visiting will continue on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Thompson Baptist Church from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am with Reverend Jim Bradford officiating.

Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery located at 2153 Bethel Road Liberty, MS.
