Robert Walton "Walt" Arnold 37 of Gloster, MS  passed away Tuesday August 11, 2020 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Walt was born August 6, 1983 in Centreville, MS to Marsha and Walton Arnold. He loved the outdoors, football, and golf. He was a tankerman with Kirby Inland Marine. The pride of his life was his daughter Sophie, who he adored. Walt is survived by his daughter Sophie Wood, and mother Alicia Wood;  his mom and step dad Marsha and Robert Taylor;  brothers Will Arnold and wife Clacey, and Billy Jack Arnold; sisters Melissa Taylor and Crystal Wheeler and husband Matt;  six nieces and nephews; Kade, Carter, Cullyn, Camille, Connor, and Cameron;  his grandparents Robert Lawrence "Buddy" and Marilyn Havard;  Uncle Mark and wife Chris Havard; and his Godmother Renee McGraw. He is preceded in death by his dad Walton Jack Arnold, and his Grand parents Walton and Eunice Arnold. Visitation will be at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster, Mississippi ,Wednesday August 12, 2020, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. A graveside service will be Thursday August 13, at 10:00am at Roseland Cemetery in Gloster, Mississippi. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and request that visitors please be mindful of mask requirements and social distancing.
